Scott Kamman
Music Teacher
In 1990, Mr. Kamman was called to serve at Our Savior Lutheran Church and School in Louisville, KY. He began as a teacher of grades three and four combined, taught music and choir and played the organ. He eventually moved up to grade six, and was named music director of the church and school.
Alex Spear
Middle School Math & Science Teacher
Ms. Spear knew she wanted to be in education in high school but could not make up her mind on what grade level she wanted to teach. She chose to double major in Secondary and Elementary Educating with a focus in Integrated Science. Ms. Spear did not choose middle school. Middle school chose her, as her first call was to St. Paul Lutheran School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She taught middle school science there for three years before accepting a new call to Immanuel Lutheran School in Belvidere, Illinois. She taught middle school math and science there for a year before accepting a call to Our Savior.
Shannon Lucas
Preschool Aide
Mrs. Shannon Lucas has been a Preschool Teacher Aide with OSLS since 2018. Her roots run deep within the Our Savior community. She was a student when the school first opened in 1990 and a Class of 1997 member. Her father, Kenny Green, was on the founding school board when the school was first established.
Wanda Hoffmann
Middle School English & Social Studies Teacher
Ms. Hoffmann has been a Middle School Teacher at Evangel Christian School in Louisville KY, for the past seven years, as well a full-time Substitute Teacher at JCPS for two years.
Ms. Hoffmann was born and raised in Germany. She migrated from Germany to the US in November 2002, with her five children.
She has a passion for teaching English and Social Studies. Her hobbies are cooking, baking, and gardening.
Tracy Hannon
Office Administrator
Mrs. Hannon has worked at Our Savior Lutheran School since 2009. She began working part time in after school care and as a preschool aide then moved to full time in the school office in January of 2014. She also does financial/bookkeeping tasks for the church and school.
Dana Netherton
1st & 2nd Grade Teacher
Dana Netherton began her 31st year in eduation during the 2024 -2025 school year. She spent 7 years teaching in Fort Smith, Arkansas, before moving to Louisville Kentucky in 2001. She spent 5 years teaching kindergarten and 26 years teaching first grade. Two of the 26 years have been spent teaching a 1st & 2nd grade combined class. Througnhout the years, Dana has been involved with music ministries, youth ministry, women's minstry, and Christ Care groups, yearbook, library and Bible study.
